The Out of the Blue Drill Hall has four rooms of various shapes and sizes available to hire, as well as chairs, tables,
 AV equipment and catering facilities.

The Drill Hall has a range of different spaces to be booked, all fully accessible.

Please note that, in general, none of the rooms in the Out of the Blue Drill Hall are suitable for Ceilidhs, wedding parties etc. This is because the building is not licensed to be open to the public after 11pm and, as we are situated in a residential area, loud music would cause inconvenience to our neighbours.

 

Performing Arts spaces:

  • a brand new fully insulated and ventilated Music Room(32 square metres) perfect for band rehearsals, group music lessons, workshops and drum circles.

  • a large Rehearsal Studio(80 square metres) with sprung wooden floor, mirrors and underfloor heating - ideal for dance classes, training, workshops, performances, drama and even children's parties.

  • The Cutting Room (40 square metres), a smart and modern studio which is well suited for auditions, workshops, acoustic ensembles, group music lessons or smaller yoga and pilates classes.

Meeting and conference facilities

  • a brand new meeting room which seats up to 20 people and is fully sound insulated, well ventilated and equipped with broadband internet.

Large Exhibition and Events space

Extending to 340 square metres, with a wooden floor and a maximum height of approximately 10 metres. This flexible space can be used for exhibitions, launches, fairs, special events and performances. Workshop Area 

This open space near the entrance (non-enclosed) is suitable for small classes or market stalls, and is also available for hire or for free (to certain community events) depending on the size and nature of your event. To enquire about availability and to request a quote, please complete this form.

Catering

The Drill Hall Arts Café is open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and can also provide a tailored catering service for specific events, at very competitive prices.
