Aerial Hoop Intensive Courses
Saturday & Sunday 11th & 12th February 1.30pm-4.30pm
Saturday & Sunday 10th & 11th March 1.30pm-4.30pm
£50 per participant per weekend, maximum 8 in group



These courses will introduce a range of technique on the aerial hoop, moves will be taught seperately built into origional choreographies.

The courses will be pitched at a general level, a minimum of experience in static aerial is required, at least 6 months regular attendance of static aerial classes is recommended ( ie. trapeze,silks or rope). A progression on previous material will be taught for those who have attended previous workshops.
Participants with a higher level of experience are welcome and can be catered for within the group.

Lucy Deacon is a performer, a teacher and a choreographer of circus movement. Her aerial hoop vocabulary is self devised and was researched under supervision of as part of the final year of her Circus Arts Diploma at Rogelio Rivel circus school Barcelona 2006-2007.

28th & 29th January - Valentines
A one day workshop on either day of this weekend. Make your very own Valentines gift for your loved one or come along together to make a gift for each other. This is a very special class for making something sentimental for someone. £70 per person or £120 for two.

25th & 26th February - Rings
A one day workshop set on either day of this weekend. An introduction to stone setting. Learn how to measure and exactly size a silver band to make your very own custom ring. £60 per person or £100 for two.

17th & 18th March - Stone Setting
A one day workshop set on either day of this weekend. An introduction to stone setting. Learn how to set a cabochon onto a pendant & make your own tube earrings with faceted stones. £65 per person or £110 for two.

12th & 13th May - Fixtures & Fittings
A one day workshop set on either day of this weekend. Learn how to make the fixtures and fittings that you usually buy from bullion suppliers. £55 per person or £90 for two.

2nd & 3rd June - Stone set rings
A two day workshop for the whole weekend. Learn how to make your own fitted silver rings, set a cabochon stone, tube set and flush set a faceted stone over the two days. £90 per person or £160 for two.
